Coconut Shell Activated Carbon
Coconut Shell Activated Carbon is the most widely used type of activated carbon in the world, it has a large surface area, high hardness and low dust, making it suitable for water and air filtration. It has micropores that can work as the best possible filters.
It is a completely natural, environmentally friendly product that has very small micropores, Coconut Shell Carbon can efficiently absorb impurities with micropore molecular structure such as those found in drinking water.
In addition, only Coconut Shell Activated Carbon can support applications such as the recovery of gold and other precious metals.
We offer two types of Coconut Shell Activated Carbon:
- Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)
- Powder Activated Carbon (PAC)
1. Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)
Granular Activated Carbon is a type of activated carbon that can be used in air purification, water treatment, general deodorisation, decolourisation and separation of components in flow systems and rapid mix tanks. It is suitable for adsorption of gases and vapours.

2. Powder Activated Carbon (PAC)
Powder Activated Carbon produced by steam activation for water purification as well as for decolourisation and deodorisation of food, etc. It is mainly used for adsorption of organics in drinking water treatment.
This carbon is NSF-61 certified and meets the AWWA-B600 for potable water treatment and all municipal water treatment use.
